H&F Electrical Contractors: Athlone Institute of Technology–School of Engineering

H&F Electrical Contractors completed the electrical installation for the flagship School
of Engineering building at Athlone Institute of Technology. This state-of-the-artfacility,
located on the west end of the main campus, serves as a teaching and research hub for
engineering and informatics students.

Key Features of the Project:

  • Electrical systems for lecture theatres, classrooms, undergraduate and research
    laboratories, drawing studios, workshops, café, and offices.
  • Infrastructure designed for future adaptability to accommodate advancements
    in research and technology.
  • Integration of electrical services across six three-storey blocks, along with external systems for lighting, power, and infrastructure to support landscaping, roads, and car parking.
  • Work carried out on a live university campus, ensuring minimal disruption to
    ongoing activities.
