H&F Electrical Contractors Ltd (HFE) has completed nationwide projects for the Irish
Prison Service, including facilities at Cork, Limerick, Midlands, Portlaoise, and Mountjoy
Prisons. The works involved upgrades across cells, common areas, external areas, and
office spaces, delivering tailored solutions to meet the operational and safety
requirements of each facility.
Electrical Systems:
- Power and Distribution: LV (Low Voltage) distribution boards, general power outlets, and energy – efficient systems.
- Lighting and Emergency Systems: Standard lighting, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Security and Communication: CCTV systems, access control systems, electricgates, public address systems, and cell call systems to enhance safety and communication.
- ICT and Network Infrastructure: Data network cabling and ICT systems for reliable connectivity.
- External Systems: Perimeter lighting and external security systems for
enhanced site-wide safety.
