H&F Electrical Contractors Ltd. were contracted to undertake an electrical upgrade of the Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems within the existing plant. This work involved the installation of new cable containment and sub – main cabling, along with the replacement of existing distribution boards (DBs) with new units to enhance power distribution efficiency.
As part of this phase, H&F Electrical was responsible for the supply, delivery, erection, connection, and commissioning of the complete MV network, including:
- Medium Voltage Switchgear
- MV Cables
- Ancillary Equipment
H&F Electrical also managed the negotiations with the E.S.B., ensuring seamless coordination and correct programming of works.
Phase Two – Internal Fit-Out & LV Services
The second phase comprised the internal fit-out of approximately 16,000ft² across the ground and first floors of the existing shell-and-core unit. The electrical installation covered a range of facility areas, including the Reception Area, Meeting Rooms, Concept Generation Studio, QFD / Innovation Centre, 3D Print Office, Product Display Room, ISO Compliance Test Lab, Open-Plan Offices & Booths, Stores, Coffee Docks,and WCs.
H&F Electrical provided a full LV electrical installation, which included:
- LV Distribution Boards
- General Services / Small Power
- Lighting & Emergency Lighting
- Fire Alarm System
- Data & ICT Infrastructure
- CCTV & Security Systems
- Access Control
- Earthing & Bonding
