H&F Electrical Contractors Ltd (HFE) was responsible for delivering the electrical
services for the Cardiac Catheter Labs project at University Hospital Galway
(UHG). This project involved the strip-out and re-planning of the Coronary Care
Unit to provide two Cardiac Catheter laboratory suites as part of a new
Cardiothoracic Ward.
The works were carried out in multiple phases (1, 2.1, and 2.2) and required the
maintenance of existing live services while executing strip-out, demolition, and
alteration works. The project included all enabling and associated works to
support the transformation of the space into a fully functional cardiothoracic
ward.
